Fish-Eating Urticina
Urticina piscivora
Even more colorful than the
Spiny Brittle Stars surrounding it,
a fish-eating anemone bides its time
while waiting for its next meal --
a small fish or invertebrate.
Growing about 8 inches (20cm) across,
these animals can be found
from La Jolla to Alaska.
